Mrs. Yoerke's student teacher is running an AWESOME Basketball Unit in PE!

Ask your 4th and 5th grader if they have B.E.E.F when are playing basketball.

We want our students to follow the A.B.C.D. Rules of Physical Education

• A - Act safely

• B - Be prepared and Be positive

• C - Cooperate

• D - Do your best

Please make sure you are wearing comfortable clothes and sneakers on your class's PE days! (Students DO NOT change for PE)

Sneakers with laces, Velcro, or bungee/stretchy laces that cover the entire foot will be appropriate for PE class.

Snow boots, "Ugg" style boots, combat boots, work boots, dress shoes, etc would not be appropriate for PE class, even though they may have a flat rubber sole and/or laces. 

Students who are not wearing sneakers or appropriate clothes for our activity will be given an alternative assignment to complete during class.
