~ Tough to Play, Tougher to BEAT ~
Please be ready for our first team practice on Monday!!
Pick up is at 5:00pm at the Westampton Sport Complex. We will be on the older turf field. Team information/schedule will be given out on Monday. See you then!!!
You will need your own colored mouth guard and field hockey shin guards. Eye cages are not required. Please be aware that we are in the "A" Divison and play High School game rules (NFHS). I would consider wearing eye cages for safety (Especially girls who have never played). We play teams that are all or mostly 8th graders.
Molded cleats are a great thing to have since most schools we travel to do not play their games on turf.
If you do not have your own stick, that's ok! You are more than welcome to use one of mine. If you would like to purchase a stick of your own, I can give you some tips for choosing the correct size.
Parents/Guardians - Please read info below - Note game day attire - Be on the look out for kelly green socks and white socks for home and away games!!
2019 Field Hockey
Field Hockey Information
Pracitces will be held at the Westampton Sports Complex and will end promptly @ 5:00pm
Athletes must be picked up from Practice and Home Games @ the WSC
Games are scheduled to start somewhere between 3:45-4:00pm.
Because of our later dismissal and playing schools who are farther away, we often arrive to our away games closer to 4:00pm or after. I will have the girls call or text when we know we are running late.
Games are usually 25min halves with a 5 minute half time. Coaches discuss times before games begin. If we are late to a game, I will suggest having shorter halves so our girls can return home at a decent time for homework and family time.
A bus will always transport athletes back to WMS for away games only. Athletes will be able to use their cell phones on the bus to call home so parents/guardians can pick them up promptly.

Game Attire
Home Games - White socks must be worn over your shin guards or wear white shin guards.
Away Games - Green socks or green shin guards must be worn
You must have a colored mouthguard to play!! They can not be clear.
No jewelery..new piercings will have to be taken out (can't cover with a band-aid).
As always....Remember that you represent not only yourself, but your school, your parents, and your coach every time you step out onto the field.
