Grading Procedures
- Tests 40%
- Quizzes 30%
- Class work/Participation 20%
- Homework 10%
Class work/Participation - Each day you will have a warm-up to complete during class. When you are absent, you are required to make up the warm-up you missed. You are also expected to raise your hand and participate during class at least once. Filling in your notes and completing daily assignments or activities will also average in with this grade.
Homework - Periodically homework will be assigned. For full credit, you must have work complete by the beginning of class or it results in a zero. Cheating will result in a zero for all students involved, phone calls home, and a re-do assignments.
There is no late credit for homework.
Projects worth a test grade may receive late credit. 10 points will be deducted for each day late.
Class Folder
The purpose of the Class Folder is to encourage organization. Each page of their folder is made up of notes, worksheets, homework, quizzes, and tests.
When You Are Absent
When you are absent from class, it is your responsibility to pick-up any missing work. Also, you are responsible for filling out missed notes. If you are absent on quiz/test day, your make-up will be the day you return. If you're absent and return on the day of a quiz/test, you will receive the missed notes and be responsible for the quiz or test the next day.
Final Grades
93 - 100 = A 85 - 92 = B 77 - 84 = C 70 - 76 = D 0 - 69 = E
