The Prevent Child Abuse America website has helpful information including prevention tips for parents on topics such as: responsible internet use, helping your child be successful in school, prevent long-lasting effects of bullying, etc. Go to "Prevention Tips for Partents" for hepful information about various topics. Check it out, and be sure to pass good along helpful information to your neighbors, family, and friends.
Bullying - StopBullying.gov provides information from various government agencies on how kids, teens, young adults, parents, educators, and educators and others in the community can prevent or stop bullying.

NJ Parent Link - ParentResourceCenter for Early Childhood and Parenting Issues
New Jersey recently launched an Early Childhood, Parenting and Professional Resource Portal – NJ Parent Link. The goal of the site is toimprove the accessibility, coordination, and delivery of information and services to parents of young children, and to improve communication capabilities for ongoing service collaborations and policy development. NJ Parent Link is a statewide website initiative made possible by the work of the New Jersey Early Childhood Comprehensive System (NJ ECCS) Team. The purpose of the site is to highlight NJ state services and resources. Federal, nationally respected and community partner resources are also included.NJ Youth Helpline - The purpose of this helpline is to promote healthy youth development by providing immediate interactive, empathetic, and respectful assistance, and linkage to information and services that address the myriad of social and health needs presented by young callers and website visitors. Open 24-7 including holidays.
Gangs - New Jersey's Online Gang Free Community Website. Everything you may want or need to know about gangs provided by the NJ Office of the Attorney General. Topics include warning signs, hand language, tattoos etc..
MSNBC Dateline Re: Why Parents Must Mind MySpace
NetSmartz - In interactive, educational safety resource to teach kids and teens how to stay safe on the internet. This site was recommended by Sergeant Detective Samartino during the internet safety presentation.
New Jersey State Police - A great site that offers advice on various topics. Search "internet safety tips" for some helpful advice. You will be sent to information about identity theft, but may access other topics as well. Worth a look!
Responding to Hate at School (Free) - This free online guidebook from Teaching Tolerance provides tips for identifying bias incidents and hate crimes and model response protocols. Available in English and Spanish, print copies are available for use as part of educational training programs.
