• My number one concern with behavior is that students have a positive attitude toward their work and always try their best. This year I will be using Class Dojo to monitor student behavior. With Class Dojo, students earn points throughout the day for good behavior such as staying on task, working hard and helping others. The points are displayed under their name on the classroom projector. Parents can also monitor this from home. The students are also expected to learn and follow the routines of the classroom consistently so that they may individually function. It is also important to mention that because this is a special needs classroom behavior expectations are modified based upon the individual needs of the student and will be adjusted throughout the school year as needed.
