• COMMISSIONER OF EDUCATION DESIGNATES
    WESTAMPTON TOWNSHIP PUBLIC SCHOOLS
    AS "HIGH PERFORMING"
    PURSUANT TO NJQSAC

  • In May of 2013, the New Jersey Department of Education issued an Evaluation of the Westampton Township Public  School District pursuant to the requirements of the Quality Singly Accountability Continuum (QSAC) N.J.A.C. 6A:30 et seq. Upon review of the District’s QSAC Action Plan in July of 2013, the New Jersey Department of Education has returned our district to its well-deserved “High Performing” status. Our district has satisfied indicators in Instruction and Program, Fiscal Management, Governance, Operations and Personnel in order to achieve this designation as “High Performing.”  Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:7A-14. New Jersey Commissioner of Education Chris Cerf will recommend that the State Board of Education certify our school district as providing a through and efficient system of education for a period of three years until our next QSAC review.

I would like to congratulate all of our Westampton Township Public School stakeholders for this accomplishment.  Our students consistently work hard to attain the standards outlined by the Common Core.  Our teachers and support staff continually go above and beyond to help our children inquire, understand and achieve more.  Our administrative team motivates and supports learning in every way.  Our parents and guardians make school a priority for our children, and our Board of Education provides thoughtful and supportive oversight for all of us.  Again, thank you for this group effort and CONGRATULATIONS!
