    Classroom Expectations

    I believe that in order for our classroom to run smoothly on a daily basis, everyone in our classroom community needs to know what is excpected of them. If we all do our personal best to meet the classroom and school expectations we will create a helpful, supportive, and succesful learning environment. The most important thing to remember is that we are all working as a team and need to be actively involved to the best of our abilities. 

    Student Expectations:

    • Be at school.
    • Be well rested each day.
    • Eat breakfast every morning.
    • Come to school with your homework completed.
    • Respect yourself and others.
    • Ask for help if you need it.
    • Use your time wisely.
    • Read every night.
    • Practice your math facts daily.
    • Listen to directions the first time.
    • Follow all school and classroom rules.

    Parent/Guardian Expectations:

    • Make sure your child comes to school each day.
    • Make sure your child eats breakfast every morning.
    • Make sure your student completes homework every night.
    • Make sure your child is reading and practicing math facts at home.
    • If there are any questions or concerns, please contact me.
    • Be involved as much as possible with your student and our classroom, whether it be helping with homework at home, classroom parties, coming in to read to us, anything that is doable for you.
    • If your child will be using a different mode of transportation home for any reason, please send in a note, email, or contact the office to let them know.

    Teacher Expectations:

    • Be at school every day.
    • Treat each student fairly.
    • Come to school prepared and ready for each day.
    • Communicate with parents/guardians openly and regularly.
    • Create a learning environment that fits each students needs.
    • Do my personal best to ensure each student succeeds.
    • Keep parents/guardians up to date on school information.
