Spend a few minutes each day reviewing these words. Your child should be able to recognize them at a glance, without needing to sound them out.
Suggested activities:
"Stickman" (also known as Hangman)
Choose a word your child has been working with. On a piece of paper, draw a line for each letter within the word. Write the alphabet across the bottom of the page. If the letter is in the word you are thinking of, write it in the correct place. If it is not, cross it out on the alphabet and begin drawing a part of the "Stickman's" body. Play continues until your child gets the word or the "Stickman" is complete.
