    BEE Binders 

     

    B(bring) E(everything) E(everyday)

     The B.E.E. binder will assist your child with organizational skills and help to maintain effective communication between school and home.

     The inside cover, (labeled NOTES), is where you should place any important notices from home; such as lunch money, snack money, Aftercare envelopes, book orders, etc.  This is also where I may place any important/time sensitive notices from the main office, one of your child's teachers, PTA, or me.  (Please see the information below about the FRIDAY FOLDER)

    ** Please check your child's BEE Binder daily.

    ** Money coming into school should always be placed in an envelope or Ziploc bag with your child's first and last name, 1-D, and the amount.  Please identify what the money is for, (example: lunch or snack money, book order, PTA, etc.). 

    The HOMEWORK FOLDER is where your child's weekly homework will be placed. It will include your child's Composition book for Spelling homework and any worksheets that are assigned for the week.  Homework will come home on Monday and completed homework is to be returned on Friday. 

    The sight word list for each marking period will be included in a clear sleeve. Please review these words frequently. Your child should be able to identify them in 3-5 seconds without needing to decode them or self-correct. 

    NEW:  The District is instituting a FRIDAY FOLDER this year. Each student will be provided with a special folder that will be placed inside your child's BEE binder. Notices from school, as well as completed classwork/tests will be sent home every Friday. Please make sure to review all notices sent home over the weekend. Any completed class work should be removed from the folder and kept at home.
