    Students should be able to spell all words listed in red and green for the week.  Students are accountable for words learned in previous weeks.  In class, students practice red words using arm tapping.  Encourage your chid to practice this strategy at home.  Green words are words that students should be able to sound out.  Words that are listed in black are sight words and students should be able to identify them in 3 seconds or less.
