Jump Rope for Heart is a fundraiser that we started in the 2007 - 2008 school year here at the Holly Hills.  This fundraiser is for the American Heart Association to benefit people who unfortunately have problems with their hearts.  To find out more information about Jump Rope for Heart please visit the official page.  www.americanheart.org/jump

This program provides a fun way for our students to exercise and maintain healthy hearts of their own.  The students also have opportunities to win many prizes, including some extras that were just added.

During the 2007 - 2008 school year we earned over $6,500.00.  Which is very impressive for being the first year.  In our second year we raised almost double that with over $12,000.00.
This program has continued to stay strong and that was shown in 2015 - 2016 as we broke all records with a school total of over $22,000.00!!!  Last year was our first year without the fourth grade participating.  Somehow we were still able to raise over $18,000.00! Not only did this benefit the students with healthy hearts and prizes, but we also earned the Physical Education Department of Holly Hills School, gift certificates that we can use for equipment from U.S. Games.

This year will be our 13th year of the Jump Rope for Heart program at Holly Hills Elementary School!
